Homes England has begun a six-month pilot of a custom planning data analytics platform built on PostGIS and Apache Superset, developed in collaboration with MHCLG's digital planning team. The tool aims to improve visibility of land availability and planning application pipelines across English local planning authorities. Source code has been published under an MIT licence on the agency's GitHub repository.
