Buckinghamshire Council has gone live with OpenProject, the open source project management platform, to coordinate its £340 million capital programme including highways and school building projects. The implementation, delivered by UK integrator Extraware, replaces a mix of spreadsheets and Microsoft Project licences. Council officers reported a significant reduction in reporting overhead within the first quarter of operation.
