A growing number of mid-sized UK architecture practices, including HawkinsBrown and BDP, are piloting OpenProject as a project management and BIM coordination platform to replace Autodesk Construction Cloud for smaller commissions. The open source tool is being configured to align with ISO 19650 workflows, with early adopters reporting smoother common data environment handoffs. The OpenProject community has responded by publishing a dedicated ISO 19650 template library.
