NHS Supply Chain has selected OpenProject as its standard project management platform, replacing Microsoft Project across more than 400 project managers. The open source tool will be hosted on-premise within NHS infrastructure to meet data governance requirements. The contract, valued at around £2.1 million over three years including support and training, was awarded following a competitive procurement process under Crown Commercial Service frameworks.
