Homes England has confirmed a migration to OpenProject, the open source project management platform, to oversee its £4.5 billion affordable housing delivery programme. The agency cited concerns over vendor lock-in with its previous proprietary tooling as a key driver for the switch. The deployment is being managed in partnership with UK-based digital consultancy Modus Create, with full rollout expected by Q3 2025.
