Homes England has begun a pilot deployment of OpenProject, the open source project management platform, to coordinate delivery tracking across its building safety remediation programme. The agency is managing over 1,200 projects under the Building Safety Fund and required an auditable, self-hosted alternative to proprietary tools. The pilot, run in partnership with supplier Thoughtworks, is expected to inform a wider rollout later this year.
