Lichfield District Council has gone live with a public-facing planning application portal built on PlanX, the open source digital planning toolkit developed under the DLUHC Open Digital Planning programme. The deployment marks one of the first standalone council implementations outside the original pathfinder group. The council worked with dxw to configure the service for local validation requirements and local plan policies.
